Christopher Taggart, MD
Dr. Taggart is excited to be joining the Rose faculty. He is a Denver native who is returning after many years away for his education. He graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He then completed his family medicine residency, chief residency, and hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. While in Akron, Dr. Taggart participated in various research activities including multiple presentations and sat on numerous leadership and educational committees. His interests include aggressive symptom management, co-ordination of care, medical leadership, and medical education.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Taggart and his wife enjoy the outdoors. They especially like running, swimming, and biking. They have completed numerous running races and even a few triathlons. They also enjoy traveling the world and ballroom dancing when they are not training.
