The new center has 15 exam rooms, a dedicated procedure room, a counseling room, a dedicated Osteopathic Manipulation room, and a dedicated ultrasound room. In addition, it has state of the art conference facilities, a larger reception area and covered parking for both patients and staff. Designed to be patient and provider friendly, the Family Medicine Center operates as a private group practice providing 24-hour, seven-days-a-week coverage shared by residents and faculty. The practice is based on teams of providers focused on providing high quality, cost effective care. Residents and faculty see their own patients from one to five half days per week. Faculty attending physicians are readily available in the Center.
Teaching activities involve direct observation, resident faculty interaction, small group seminars, review of videotaped patient encounters and chart review. We offer special procedure clinics, Sports Medicine Clinics, on-site obstetrical ultrasound, and ongoing practice management education. In addition
to medical staff, we have a full time social worker and full time psychologist at the center. Residents, family medicine faculty and faculty from other specialties are involved in regular conferences addressing issues in family medicine. Resident participation is encouraged addressing resident, curriculum, and patient issues, and we also perform home visits as part of our patient services and training.
Rose Medical Center is a 250 bed, full-service hospital located in the heart of Denver. RMC has been repeatedly recognized both locally and nationally, including as a Top 100 US Hospital. Rose's commitment to the training program is stronger than ever, having supported the buildout of our new office on the hospital campus. Family physicians at Rose Medical Center enjoy full privileges, including obstetrical care.

Rose Family Medicine residents have both inpatient and outpatient pediatrics rotations at Children’s.

Twenty-five percent of all Denver residents, and one of every three children in Denver is cared for by Denver Health physicians. Rose Family Medicine residents have their obstetrics rotation at Denver Health.
